A card that means something because of what stands behind it.
Most institutional ID cards prove only that the holder is holding a card. They are lent, copied, and produced in the market outside the gate for a few thousand naira. A Biolog credential is different in one specific way: it is a pointer to a biometric record, and the reader checks the record, not the plastic.

How the binding works
Card production
- Design — institution-branded card design incorporating crest, colours, security features and the data fields your processes need
- Production — printing and personalisation, on site or at our facility
- Encoding — smart chip and RFID encoding, binding the card to the identity record
- Security features — configurable; specified per institution
Card lifecycle
Issue
Produced against a completed, deduplicated enrolment record. No enrolment, no card.
Replace
Lost and damaged cards are reissued against the existing biometric record — the person proves who they are with their finger, and the replacement is produced without re-enrolment. The old card is revoked at the same moment.
Revoke
Graduation, resignation, expulsion, expiry. Revocation is central and immediate. The card in the former student’s wallet stops opening the hostel gate that evening, whether or not anyone collected it.
Audit
Every card in the estate is accounted for: issued, active, replaced, revoked, never collected.
Beyond the card
Not every deployment needs plastic. Biolog supports credential-free verification, where the finger alone is the credential, and digital credentials held on a phone.
Which of these fits depends on where your verification points are and how many of them sit outside network coverage. That is a configuration conversation, not a product limitation.
